What is GWB?

GWB is San Diego’s most competitive lacrosse club, where we focus on developing athletes through discipline, teamwork, and high-level instruction. We are committed to helping you grow not only as a lacrosse player, but as a leader and teammate on and off the field.
This program is for players who are serious about the sport and ready to work hard. We do not just participate in events. We prepare to win at the highest level.

What is included in the investment?

Every GWB player receives:

  • A uniform - GWB shorts, shooter shirt
  • 60-85 practices per September 2025 - July 2026
  • 6-10 elite tournaments
  • Group coaching
  • Position-specific training
  • Speed & Development coaching in the spring
  • Access to Cathedral Catholic and Encinitas YMCA facilities - two of the nicest in San Diego
  • Direct access to co-founders

Is this registration for the calendar year or longer?
GWB runs as a year-round program from September-July. Our approach is designed to provide steady development through consistent coaching, training, and competition. We believe that long-term progress requires consistent effort over time. Players who stay committed to a structured program throughout the year build better fundamentals, stronger team chemistry, and a deeper understanding of the game. This consistency gives athletes a clear advantage as they move toward higher levels of play.

Your registration is good for September 2025 through July 2026 and includes uniforms, tournament fees, coaching, and the best training facilities San Diego has to offer.

You can choose your Uniform size and desired jersey number during the checkout process.

When do we practice and what tournaments will we do?
Each part of the year is different depending on where we are in our training program. You can see each team’s practice schedule and upcoming tournaments on our website.
We will help organize your travel when it’s required, though you will ultimately be responsible for getting your son there and lodging.
We will announce the spring and summer schedule in the winter.

Who will coach my son’s team?
Our coaching staff includes professionals lacrosse players, former Division I players, NCAA head coaches, San Diego area High School head coaches, All-Americans, National Champions, and more! All coaches who know what it takes to succeed in the sport. They are committed to teaching, mentoring, and pushing each player to reach their full potential. You can see who that coach will be on our website. We will update it with detailed coaching bios as the season approaches.

What if it’s not a fit?
While we are confident in our program and the results that come with it, we understand it isn’t for everyone. We offer a 60-day trial period that begins when you register. If before 60 days you decide you do not want to play with GWB, we will cancel your future installments and remove you from the team. No refunds are offered and no cancellations after 60 days.There is an option to purchase insurance during registration to protect your investment.
